Dallas Cowboys vs. New York Jets: Dak Prescott’s club is now 2-0 following a decisive victory

Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott was 31/38 for 255 yards and two touchdowns on the opposite side of the ball, while CeeDee Lamb had 143 receiving yards on 11 receptions.

The “Dallas Cowboys vs. New York Jets: Dak Prescott’s club is now 2-0 following a decisive victory” are now 2-0 after this victory, with each victory coming against a New York squad.

Texas’s ARLINGTON Brandin Cooks, CeeDee Lamb’s new partner, missed the Cowboys’ home opener due to a knee injury sustained during his Dallas debut a week earlier.

The No. 1 receiver on the team didn’t require much assistance.
The cowboys defeated the New York Jets 30-10 on Sunday, thanks to big plays by Lamb that helped set up both of Dak Prescott’s touchdown passes. In the 28-year-old rookie’s home debut, Brandon Aubrey also nailed five field goals.

The cowboys (2-0) completed a season-opening sweep of the New York teams, but Zach Wilson threw three interceptions in his first start since Aaron Rodgers suffered a season-ending Achilles tendon injury.
The Jets (1-1) were coming off an emotional overtime victory against Buffalo after Rodgers was hurt on the fourth snap of his New York debut, while Dallas opened with a 40-0 thrashing of the NFC East rival Giants.

Jerry Jones, the owner and general manager of the Dallas Mavericks, remarked, “I enjoy how we’ve done it in different ways, so that’s good. “Yes, I do feel great about that. I believe a lot of our team’s fundamentals have been demonstrated, including special teams, offense, defense, and some of the stuff we’ve incorporated. We’re making an effort and using them.
This time, lamb was at the top of the list.

With 11 catches, the fourth-year receiver tied a career high, including one over Tony Adams for 25 yards that led to tight end Jake Ferguson’s 4-yard touchdown catch on the following play.
the first possession following the coin flip, when Dallas chose not to defer.

The following touchdown was a 20-yarder on a drive that followed Garrett Wilson’s 68-yard touchdown catch. Lamb managed to hold on despite landing on a shoulder after being upended by Adams, who suffered a hamstring injury and was unable to continue the game.

Soon after Brandin Echols was penalized for pass interference in the end zone, rookie tight end Luke Schoonmaker scored his first touchdown of the game from the 1.

With 13 targets for Lamb, two fewer than his career high, Prescott almost went overboard. Before halftime, Sauce Gardner would have had a pick-6 to give the Jets the lead after stepping in front of one of the tosses but the ball escaped from his grasp.

“I know what I’m capable of doing and the things I’m pretty good at it,” said Lamb, whose longest reception, a 31-yarder, helped set up Aubrey’s first field goal. “The show is still going. I continue to attend every week. I’m demonstrating my superiority to both myself and my partner.

In the second quarter, Garrett Wilson caught a long touchdown pass from Zach Wilson to pull the Jets to within three points. The drive ended with a field goal, leaving the Jets down eight points at the break
However, dallas cowboys cowboys controlled the ball for more than 42 minutes and ran 83 plays to the Jets’ 46, while New York only managed 147 yards outside of the long touchdown.

Jets coach Robert Saleh stated, “You’re going to run out of gas. We saw almost 90 of them today.” We simply didn’t allow ourselves the opportunity defensively to clear the field and give our offense a chance to establish any sort of rhythm.

Dallas dropped the Giants’ Daniel Jones seven times before sacking Wilson three times every week. Wilson was intercepted by Jayron Kearse, Malik Hooker, and Trevon Diggs.

Micah Parsons, who had two sacks, took the ball out of Dalvin Cook’s hands right before Cook was tackled, causing Cook to fumble. Parsons jumped up and went toward the end zone, but a review determined that he was down.

“We’re off to an outstanding start,” coach Mike McCarthy said of his team’s defense, which has led the NFL in interceptions for the past two seasons and was among the top five in sacks last year. “After two games, the pressure and takeaways are at an incredible level.”

Tony Pollard had 72 rushing yards, and Prescott completed 31 of 38 passes for 255 yards. Wilson was 12 of 27 for 170 yards in total.

THE SETTLEMENT

Aubrey made five field goals, including one of 55 yards, and has made all 13 of his kicks since missing an extra point in his debut NFL attempt against the Giants. The fact that Brett Maher missed four straight PATs in a wild-card victory at Tampa Bay last year made Aubrey’s hiring possible makes the miss noteworthy. Since then, Aubrey has remained unflappable.

OBJECTIVE COACH

In the second half, Dallas defensive assistant Sharrif Floyd was removed from the field due to health issues. Prior to entering to the medical tent, he was attended to after collapsing on the sideline. Floyd was then led into the changing room.

Animals: LG Chuma Edoga, who started both games in place of Tyler Smith while Smith recovered from a hamstring injury, left the game with an elbow problem in the second half. T.J. Bass, an undrafted rookie, took his place. When Pollard ran into the back of him while on a carry, Zack Martin suffered an ankle injury.
